The Pink One was made as a portable 10×8 with a tiny Cooke Primoplane 6″ f/6.5 lens. That’s pretty wide angle (equivalent to 21mm on ‘full frame’) and it allows the camera to be surprisingly compact. It’s shown here with a 7″ Primoplane lens (24mm equivalent) with guillotine shutter. It’s covered in fine full grain leather, trimmed with brass and solid oak, and finished with iris pattern upholstery studs. The Pink One makes an extraordinary street camera, perfect for group and environmental portraits and landscape work. When you set this up in a town centre people will be queuing to have their picture taken. If you want to be left alone, don’t go out with The Pink One!
