Camera No. 5

Another portable 10×8″ camera, the fifth Camera Eccentrica is a refined, lightweight and versatile model.  Designed for lenses in the 10″ range (equivalent to around 35mm in ‘full frame’ terms) it’s an elegant all-purpose traveller.  It has sported several different lenses, a Fujinar 25cm f/4.5, the Derogy Petzval and more recently a rare Ross WA Xpres 10″ f/4.  The front panel is made from recycled American black walnut, it has oak trim and is covered in fine red wine coloured goatskin.  The side panels are made from high quality plywood just 1/8″ thick, contributing to its exceptionally light weight.
